fixing plaster wall and ceilings

by Hoffman's Drywall

This is awesome stuff. Works great for fixing plaster walls so you don't have to tear them out. Leaves walls looking like a new plastered wall.

Perfect for saving plaster and smoothing walls

by Judy Hotchkiss

I've been waiting for someone to sell this type product--I've used similar for 45 years. We slightly dilute standard sheetrock mud with room temp water, roll it on with a paint roller, smooth the fiber product onto the wall with flexible putty knives. Then roll on another light coat, smooth and let dry. Once dry, one more light coat fills in any imperfections. It is hung like wallpaper, with butt joints. There is VERY LITTLE SANDING which means very little mess. I am happy to recommend the product to anyone with lumpy walls. PS, you can fill the big spots of missing plaster with a patching compound, smooth then cover the wall with the fiber sheeting. Always lightly scrape the walls between all coats to remove tiny points and bumps. I did a HUGE house with this method. It remains perfect for decades unless you have water leaks.
